Game 12 vs Dallas

Corey Crawford was amazing again tonight. He only gave up two goals. One was a shot after a Royal Road pass. The Royal Road is an invisible line on the ice connecting both nets. A Royal Road pass is basically a pass through the middle of the ice. This type of pass gets the goalie moving and makes it harder for the goalie to make a save. So it’s a high percentage shot that many goalies let hit the back of the net. The other goal he gave up was a high traffic goal that went off a player’s skate. Crawford had 6 players in the slot and it’s tough for any goalie in that much traffic. So the point is Crawford’s two goals against were tough plays. He gave up no easy goals. Corey Crawford has been the key to the Blackhawks start this season.
