Game 13 vs Dallas

The big story for me tonight was Coach Quenneville finally split up the Panik – Toews – Kane line, sending Panik down to the bottom-6 in the second period and bringing up Nick Schmaltz. Schmaltz’s skill and puck handling ability gives Patrick Kane someone to work with in the offensive zone while Toews wins boards battles and plays around the net. The Schmaltz – Toews – Kane line looked good and Kane looked like a rejuvenated player.

Three up / Three down

  • 👍 Kempny – Seabrook pairing
  • 👍 Nick Schmaltz
  • 👍 Artemi Panarin
  • 👎 Dennis Rasmussen
  • 👎 Gustav Forsling
  • 👎 Richard Panik
